Skid Row is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. They were very successful in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their first two albums certified multi-platinum. During this period, the band consisted of Rachel Bolan (bass), Dave "The Snake" Sabo (guitar), Scotti Hill (guitar), Rob Affuso (drums), and Sebastian Bach (vocals). As of 2010, the band consists of Bolan, Sabo, Hill, Johnny Solinger (vocals), and Rob Hammersmith (drums).

Skid Row is the eponymous debut album by American heavy metal band Skid Row, released on January 24, 1989. The album charted at #6 on The Billboard 200 and is certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA. Released from the album were the top 10 singles "18 and Life", "I Remember You" and the mainstream rock hit "Youth Gone Wild", all three singles featuring music videos. It is the band's most commercially successful album. The album has since sold five million copies in the United States alone.
